Michelle Partington
Invictus Games Athlete

A survivor who fought from the brink of mental illness (Combat PTSD) to competing as an athlete in the Invictus Games. Having served in the RAF as a paramedic on the front line in Afghanistan, her biggest battle was to be fought internally. “I lost a piece of myself on the battlefield but built a bridge to find my way back. If I can do it, anyone can do it! I went from wanting to take my life, to wanting to take my life as far as it can go.”
